Dawes is on the road with Baker, he called this morning trying to sort out the Indy ads for the next issues... Looks like another Koston debacle where we have a sick photo but since someone else got a shot with the same angle on the same set of stairs... no go... shit's gotta be original and legit you know. Looks like Hewitt gets the ad... you'll be hyped when you see it in the next Slap.

Chet Childress has the next Thrasher ad and an interview in the same issue... stoked on that shit. Here's a preview:

I went to say what's up to Lee just a little while ago and he was in the middle of this multi-page blog about how god is his bullet proof vest... needless to say, as I interrupted him and he showed me his blog, he was distracted and clicked on the wrong add news button and poof, it was gone... shoot me.

OK so I can't seem to figure out these Hollywood movie types that still think they can package skateboarding with a bunch of teen spirit, slap an X-treme sticker on it and sell it to our youth for $8. Here's another crappy example of Hollywood trying to catch the concrete wave - Deck Dogz! These guys actually approached us for product and asked if they could use Independent in the movie (...) nope.
