WEEKEND WATCH
I noticed that someone posted Think's Lizard in Oz on YouTube so here you go, enjoy. Almost seems like a late 80's / 90's sort of gig, edit-wise. Amazingly enough, I hadn't actually seen the vid before this. What up Mini V, never got copies of that!

Part II>

fuzzy but awesome... "We're from America."

Mr. Haslam
This week's featured vid at StrangeNotes.com has really been making the rounds. It's Chris Haslam's Checkin' In from the most recent Strange Notes DVD, NY to Shangai.

Speaking of SN DVD's... the new one is just finished up! It's called "Covers, Baby!"... you'll see why... but it's got Andrew Reynolds, Peter Hewitt, Indy in Australia with Omar Salazar, Dan Drehobl, Adam Alfaro, Kenny Anderson, Andrew Currie, absolutely no Emmanuel Guzman footy... plus a whole hell of a lot more awesome skateboarders skateboarding...

Footnote, if you've never seen Haslam's part in Deca 2nd to None, peep it... he been throwing caca down for years.

I really like the office antics at the end... someone needs to step it up around here.

little big man
I met this kid at last fall's Tim Brauch contest (see previous post about sponsoring kids under 16) and it's obvious there's some serious progression going on here...

Shane Cross & Ali Boulala
A cloud of fog has risen over the festivities and tours taking place in Australia right now as news spread quickly yesterday that Shane Cross was killed and Ali Boulala critically injured in a motorcycle accident. Our hearts are with Shane's family and friends as well as Ali, may he come out of this alive.
Just a few days before at Pizzy. Rest in peace man.

Santa Cruz's V Day premiere in San Jose on Saturday
San Jose’s Blank Club in San Jose is set to premiere V Day, “The Veterans Divison” video featuring Keith Meek, Eric Dressen, Jason Jessee and Tom Knox this Saturday. Check the photo in the flyer with Keith Meek from 1978. Yes, that’s an Independent sticker on his helmet, but he’s riding Tracker half tracks. (Indys weren’t available to the public just yet.)

Also, in the line up for the evening, Clay Wheels will rip through a set of power chords and share stage time with Tom Knox’s band Cacti Widders.
