This news of Eric’s knee followed news from V-Day senior filmer, Bart Saric, who a few weeks prior broke his collar bone and thumb in a high-speed follow-filming crash while getting Brian Lotti’s interview & footage. The only “good” out of this was Bart was man enough to sacrifice his body to save his camera.
Add to these a frenzy of last minute communication trying to get to the bottom of the music industry’s legal-ease concerning the network of charges paid out to vocalists unions, pensions paid to the estates of dead lead singers, musicians union fees, new use fees and a host of other BS charges and it becomes painfully obvious why most video productions never get legit permission to use music and why scheduled release dates for videos are pointless.
