no rest in the northwest tour.
Well the last few days of the trip were all about street skating and one last demo at inner space.
So here is a quick summery of what happened and a load of pics to have a butchers hook at.
Skyline

Friday we lobbed ourselves in the van and hit the streets of Seattle. We hit up this gasworks spot and warmed up with some football.

E man had his eyes on this gap and pondered leaping over it before he did, boom mate.

We hit up a few more spots and everyone went off AGAIN but you will have to wait to see.
The next day we had a demo at inner space Skate Park.

This was our last demo of the trip and let me tell ya it was awesome, tons of stuff went down and the park was really fun, kids were stoked and high fiving everyone, and the owners were cool as foook.
Cheers inner space.
Well our job was done and since the lads all ripped it was time to get everyone fed and have a good night out.

We checked out a few Halloween Parties and saw some funny sights.

Wonder woman was so impressed by transformer guy that she let him hang out the back.

Brice needed telling that if he drank all the beer he was going to get a Chelsea smile.

Clearly I don’t like snakes.

I just want to say a massive thanks to our tour guide Brice Niebuhr aka Hulk Niebuhr for showing us around and helping out with everything.

Not only were you a great tour guide, you ripped on the whole Trip. NHS reps skate and they are bloody good at it too.
Well that was the tour and I just want to say cheers to the whole team and everyone who made it happen.
Ohh yeah it wouldn’t be a Santa Cruz tour without a screaming hand.

special thanks to brice niebuhr, john crouch, joe hammeke, and mike poore, cheers for all your help.

No rest in the northwest tour.
Wed 24th
We got up and went to Burnside, manny and Brice was ripping and even Alex and Flo had a bash, which was cool.
After that we went to this street gap, which was wet, and it had started raining so I thought the sesh was over but Alex and Flo liked it so much they skated it in the rain. Two sequences later we were all wet and back in the van ready to go up to Seattle.

Thursday 25th
Well we got up and had a long drive ahead of us to Wenatchee where we had a demo scheduled at revolution skate and snow.
It was a long drive but I bribed hammeke with a 12 pack to do it and the scenery was amazing.

We had to make a pit stop on the way so the brothers from different mothers could get their BK fix.

Well we arrived and the demo went well again and more kids were stoked, so cheers to all the guys.
Sid Ollie to tail hop back in

Mouly stalefish.

So back to more signing and banter with the nippers.

scs Team and fans

And then we all headed to Bobs for burgers and vitamin beer. Hooorrraaaayyyyyy.

More quotes.
Sid “what the f@#k are you talking about that’s fancy arse hair”.

E man “we are going to drink till we die” after the Burnside sesh.
E man on the girls next door “she’s like a retarded dood with a hot arse”.
Carolino at bobs burger “extra bacon please li lik like two pigs”.

No rest in the northwest tour.
Well it’s been a bizzy few days so I will cram in as much as I can.
Sun the 21st we all went street skating until the rain got us again and then we drove to Eugene.
Woke up Mon 22nd and holy shizzle the sun was shining so we all got up and went street skating before the demo. We went to this rad bank ledge spot that was sick and everyone had a good skate there.
Sid nose blunt slide.
After the sesh we headed off to the demo at the Springfield Park where we were greeted by a bunch of kids and a sick skate park. We all skated for several hours then we decided to get the kids to do a best trick contest for some free product.
gabriel cruz fs/feeble

We didn’t expect the nippers to get gnarly but they really went for it down the big rail and carcass tossing down the stairs.

After that we gave the kids their prizes and signed a bunch.
the 3 winners , sopaul nhep , austin stockton and gabriel cruz.

Then we went off to tactics skate shop for some more signing and hanging out, it was nice to see they represent with Santa Cruz and creature boards on the wall, nice one geezer’s.

sid the red bull vendor.

Ohh and then it was beer o’clock so we all went out and got food ECT and I found a card room and made an extra 300 playing poker. Result. />

Oct 20th
So we got up today ready for a full day of "having it large", manny got a box from Vox with samples of his new shoe and they are well good “im telling ya”.

So we lobbed ourselves in the van and went off to the skate legion shop signing.

Really good vibes at this place and everyone was stoked; they even had a tiny mini ramp in the shop that everyone had a shralp on and red bull sent out some people to give out drinks too. Cheers.

This one kid was well chuffed getting everyone to sign his board along with the rest of them, spot on mate.

We finished up the signing because we were all in fear of carpal tunnel and headed off to the DEPARTMENT OF SKATE Park for the demo. Cheers to Greg from skate legion for everything.
D O S was amazing, the park was awesome, the people were well sound and the whole team ripped this place including Brice Niebuhr our northwest NHS rep.

At one point there were cheers from every corner of the park, thanks to all the guys at the D O S Park for a really fun day and making us feel really welcome.
After the demo and more signing it was time for a fun night out with the lads.
The nightlife in Portland is quite different from what im used to, for example we walked into one bar and everything looked normal, bar on the right hand side, pool tables in the back, people drinking and having fun and then I look to my left and I see a naked woman dancing with knockers you could park a bike in…. epic mate…as you can imagine it was a good night.

No rest in the northwest tour
19th of Oct
So we got up at the crack of dawn this morning and had breakfast (well coffee and ciggies for me).
Jumped in the taxi and jetted off to the airport to catch our flights to Portland.
Sid and I saw Travis barker at the airport. And the guy from that movie candy man,GREAT.

We arrived and met up with the whole crew, Ted, Manny, Sid, Carolino, Flo, mike, and myself.

We got the van and were off on a longer mission to the hotel since we missed one turn and ended up lost and well buggerd on the one-way systems out here.
We got to the hotel where an immediate footage session started up.

I got back to the room where I found Sid on a tash wax mission

What a nutter.

Tour quotes so far.
Carolino, "a nice soup rise" (surprise).
Flo, "like when you catch two gypsies in one cage" (as in killing two birds with one stone).
Sid to Mouly “ ohh no they made me take my strap off”.
Mouly to Sid “ you had a strap on?”

No rest in the northwest tour
Ok so we got up early today for flo’s daily habit TV show in LA.
We were picked up by flo’s soon to be best mate limo driver Ramie (well I think that was his name).

We arrived and Flo was whisked off to the make up chair.

He looked quite comfortable in front of the camera and so he should since he just bought a VX2000. Himself and Carolino have been filming everything, passing the camera back and forth like a batten.

It was nice to see Emmanuel’s board represented on the fuel studio wall too.

Sid Melvin who is getting a little rest before the NO REST IN THE NORTHWEST also has joined us.

Well be sure to check out Florentin marfaing on the daily habit Monday, October 29th at 6pm PST/9pm EST on Fuel TV and later again that evening at 9pm PST/12am EST.
The show rebroadcasts the following day at 11:30am PST/2:30pm EST and again later at 2:30pm PST/5:30pm EST

So amazingly Carolino and Flo both made their flights and are here in LA ready for the northwest trip.
Flo is going to do the daily habit show for fuel TV this week before we leave for Portland on the 19th.
Watch this space for daily or every other day updates for the trip.
Cheers fellow shralpers.
